| NASA'S Dr. Kevin Grazier to deliver Keynote at Sensors Expo | ||

April 20, 2009 Engineers and executives planning to attend the Sensors Expo & Conference will have the opportunity to hear about the Cassini mission to Mars, as well as insights on the future of sensing technologies from two industry leaders who will be delivering keynote presentations at the upcoming show. The Expo & Conference will be held Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 10 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL. On Tuesday, June 9, Dr. Kevin R. Grazier, Investigation Scientist & Science Planning Engineer, Cassini/Huygens Mission to Saturn & Titan, NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) will deliver the opening day keynote Five Years at Saturn: The Cassini/Huygens Mission. The Cassini spacecraft has been in Saturn orbit for nearly five years, and has been completely rewriting the book about the ringed planet. Dr. Grazier will provide an overview of the technical hurdles involved in delivering a spacecraft to Saturn, examine recent science results, and discuss plans for Cassinis future. On Wednesday, June 10 Beth Wozniak, President of Sensing and Control Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions will present A World of Interconnected Sensors. She will discuss the evolution of computing generally, human-machine interaction more specifically, and how sensor technologies and applications have brought us to the verge of truly pervasive sensing networks. The market for sensors and related technologies is expanding at a phenomenal rate and we are thrilled to have Dr. Kevin Grazier and Beth Wozniak as our keynote speakers at this years Sensors Expo & Conference, said Debra Brown, event director for Questex Media Group, producers of the event. Both of these individuals are on the leading edge of sensing technology advancements, and we look forward to hearing their insights. In addition to the keynote presentations, conference attendees will have access to an in-depth 18-track conference program featuring the world's leading authorities, who will examine the most up-to-date innovations focused on sensors and sensor-integrated systems. The pre-conference symposia will be held Monday, June 8 from 9 am 5 pm. The Expo Hall, featuring 175 vendors showcasing new solutions and services will be open on Tuesday, June 9th from 10 am 5 pm and on Wednesday, June 10th from 10 am 3 pm. Conference sessions will run from 10 am 4 pm both days with keynote presentations starting at 9:00 am. The event will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL.
