NDTrak adds Matt McCarthy as corporate NDT specialist
May 6, 2009 – NDTrak appointed Matt McCarthy as Corporate NDT Level III Specialist. With over 15 years experience, McCarthy joins the existing NDTrak team in supporting the growing number of companies using the comprehensive suite of NDTrak services. He received his initial NDT training while serving in the United States Navy. His work experience ranges from performing nondestructive testing work on US Military surface ships, submarines and aircraft to civilian projects in the oil and gas production and refining and nuclear power sectors.

Reflecting McCarthy’s extensive training and experience, he holds Level III certifications from the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), including Visual, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, and Eddy Current testing methods. As a contractor, Matt performed work for military contracted civilian companies, aerospace component production companies, the National Institute for Aviation Research, nuclear power generation utilities, oil refineries, and petrochemical plants.

“We are excited to have Matt as our Corporate NDT Level III Specialist”, says Archie Thompson, President of NDTrak. His extensive experience in the field of nondestructive testing will be essential in managing the growing breadth of services that comprise the NDTrak offering. I am confident Matt will provide strong leadership to the NDTrak team.”
