May 13, 2009 Joseph Martin, Jeff Miller and Piercarlo (PC) Romano were elected to the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) Board of Directors at the 16th annual CSIA Executive Conference held in Naples, Florida, April 29 through May 2. In addition to newly-elected board members, special recognition was given to CSIA Partner of the Year, Mark Moriarty of Rockwell Automation, for significant contribution, dedication and support to CSIA, and to CSIA Partner Company of the Year, Schneider Electric, Knightsdale, NC for its significant contributions of resources for the betterment of CSIA and its members. The Charlie Bergman Award was also presented at the conference to the late Nels Tyring, formerly of TVC Systems. Presented annually, this award goes to the integrator most committed to unselfish sharing, guiding the way in leadership and promoting control system integration as a market. The Control System Integrators Association provides its member-companies with the means to improve their business and executive management skills in support of the belief that being a good system integrator goes hand-in-hand with operating a good business. CSIAs trademark Certified Member program provides an industry-specific means for end-users to identify areas of importance and minimize the uncertainties in selecting a system integrator, while also offering a framework for integrators to evaluate and improve their own businesses. |
