.jpg) January 13, 2010 - Nexcom announces the EBC 540, a 5.25” embedded board with an on-board Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with 512 KB L2 Cache by533 MHz FSB. The EBC 540 features Intel945GSE and ICH7-M chipsets, which supports DDR2 400/533 memory, along with integrated GMA 950 graphics to support independent VGA and LVDS interface. Featuring low power consumption processor and small form factor with versatile displays and I/O port support at industrial applications, the EBC 540 offers competitive price against industrial rivals. The EBC 540 is built with a compact Flash Socket, six USB 2.0ports, two PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, two SATA ports. To fulfill the expansion requirement, one PCI104 interface and one PCI slot come along with standard configuration. The EBC 540 is ideal for various industrial applications including automation, machinery control, process control, factory machinery, medical instruments, POS/Kiosk vending machines, etc. The EBC 540 complies with FCC Class A and certified with CE approval.
