.jpg) March 15, 2007 - OSCEOLA, Wis. - Northwire has introduced ODVA DeviceNet cable, a new product of the DataCELL FIELD line specifically engineered for the tough industrial environments utilizing networked discrete automation and control. This cable is available in ODVA-compliant thick (600V-rated), which exceeds CL2 and CL3 per NEC 725.61; thin (300V-rated); and special PLTC thin, designed with 22AWG data pair and PLTC-rated (Power Limited Tray Cable), which exceeds CL2 and CL3 per NEC 725.61. DataCELL FIELD cables have a PVC jacket that is resistant to oil, light and water. They are available in standard and custom colors. DataCELL FIELD DeviceNet is shipped direct from the factory and is available in minimum bulk quantities of 1,000 feet shipped in 15 days or less. In addition to ODVA DeviceNet, Northwire’s complete line of DataCELL FIELD rugged cables for discrete control industrial network applications includes network cables for PROFIBUS DP, AS-interface, CC-Link and CANopen. Northwire’s line of DataCELL FIELD cables for process control and instrumentation applications includes FOUNDATION fieldbus H1, HART Communication and PROFIBUS Process fieldbus PA.
