Parker Electromechanical Automation Group News
| Parker Introduces Cost-Saving, Miniature Integral E Drive & Stepper Motor |
Economical component decreases product integration time Rohnert Park, California, November 9, 2004 Parker is pleased to announce the release of the Integral E, an integrated drive and stepper motor designed for high-tech applications. The Integral E is another solution that allows Parker to address the high-precision motion control requirements of the life science and electrical industries. We saw a clear need from our customers for this cost-efficient, miniaturized drive, says Marc Feyh, marketing product coordinator at Parkers Electromechanical Automation Division. The Integral E functions as an economical plug-and-play solution that reduces component count and cabling and significantly decreases product integration time. This gives our customers a competitive advantage and offers real cost savings, especially for companies trying to streamline operations. Similar to the integrated servo motor drive in Parkers iBE Series motion control system, the Integral Es efficient stepper motor drive performs well in a range of applications, especially where space is limited. For example, several Integral E motor/drives can be combined with a single ACR1505 motion controller to form a complete multi-axis motion control system for use in medical instruments such as microarrayers or liquid handlers.
