Pepperl+Fuchs expands PMI Linear Measurement Sensors
July 14, 2008 - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces PMI14V-F112-U-V3 Inductive Linear Measurement Sensors – the latest and most compact addition to their PMI sensor family. These flush mountable sensors are just 35 mm wide x 41 mm deep, and provide a 14mm sensing range with resolutions up to 0.033 mm. PMI14V sensors feature a voltage output with zero position adjust, giving users the flexibility to scale the unit to shorter usable lengths to satisfy specific application requirements.

PMI sensors deliver outstanding accuracy when compared with similar devices such as tubular analog inductive sensors. As a result, they are an ideal high performance linear measurement sensing solution in applications requiring short-range linear measurement in a compact package. They are particularly well suited for spindle gripper position measurement in the machine tool industry.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
