February 6, 2011 - Pepperl+Fuchs network-based VisuNet Remote Monitors and industrial Direct Monitors have passed Emerson Alliance Program testing. The VisuNet EX1 Remote Monitors are suitable for use in Zone 1 / 21 (ATEX and IECEx) environments. The VisuNet GMP and EX2 Remote Monitors are suitable for use in general purpose and Zone 2 environments, and feature a streamlined design well suited for use in Life Science applications that use GMP design and manufacturing practices (Good Manufacturing Practices).

“Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet remote monitors offer a wide range of adaptive solutions to meet varying demands for robustness, GMP finish and suitability for industrial general purpose and hazardous area process industry applications,” says Kristen Barbour, Product Marketing Manager. “All of our remote monitors are available with an optional touch screen, as well as antibacterial foil keyboards in many country-specific layouts. Customers can also choose an optical trackball mouse, touchpad mouse or joystick mouse.”

Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet DM series are industrial flat panel LCD monitors engineered to deliver reliable operation and long life in harsh application environments, and/or in applications demanding continuous duty operation, for general purpose and Class I Div 2 and Zone 2.
