Pepperl+Fuchs releases GRIP barcode reader handles
April 26, 2007 - TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the GRIP family of barcode reader handles for MAH200 and MAH300 series barcode readers. These unique handles withstand demanding application conditions in high use environments, with an extended-use ergonomic design for prolonged reader life.

The GRIP1 is designed for rugged cabled operations. A new battery handle option provides rugged, cordless mobility for high volume bar code reading environments. Battery handle versions are available with a standard capacity battery (GRIP2) or high-capacity (GRIP3) Li-Ion Battery system.

These barcode reader handles promise up to three million activations for extended trigger life. They provide well-protected reader window and illumination LEDs, and an elasatomer overmold improves drop-shock survivability. Readers are secured to the handle via the threaded battery compartment. A screw attachment option can help secure the reader to handle, while an optional cable attachment clip can help secure the cable to the handle. Additionally, the GRIP series accommodates an optional lanyard hook for increased efficiencies in production environments.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
