Phoenix Contact Adds the SPEEDCON Quick-Locking M12 Connection System Technology to its Line of Sensor/Actuator Boxes (SACBs)
Middletown, Pa. — Phoenix Contact, a leader in the development and manufacture of specialized electronic components and connection systems, has added the SPEEDCON quick-locking M12 connection system technology to its extensive line of sensor/actuator boxes (SACBs). With SPEEDCON, a simple “1/2 turn” makes a secure, watertight and vibration-proof connection between cordsets and devices, reducing installation time by 90%. The new SACBs integrate a metal threaded slot, are completely potted and are IP65/67 rated for harsh industrial environments. The boxes are available with 4, 6 or 8 slots and with or without LEDs, providing multiple design options. Additional features include preassembled master cables and pluggable screw connections.

Compatible with all standard M12 connectors on the market, SPEEDCON requires no special adapters making it backwards, forwards, and future compatible.
