Phoenix Contact's M12 Plug Connectors are Ethernet Compatible

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- Connecting the plant floor to the front office has never been easier with the new M12 Ethernet plug connector from Phoenix Contact. The M12 Ethernet D-coded connector provides an international standard for industrial Ethernet applications. Available as overmolded cordsets, field wireable and panel feed-through connectors, the connector provides both design and user flexibility.

The preassembled cables enable users to plug and play, providing time, labor and cost savings. The M12 Ethernet connection system is IP67 rated for harsh environments and meets CAT5 requirements of 100 Mbit/s.

The addition of the M12 Ethernet, together with the company’s VARIOSUB RJ45 Ethernet connector, allows Phoenix Contact to offer a solution for any industrial Ethernet application.
