.jpg) Now you can connect various field devices using different networks or protocols and share data between these devices with ProSoft Technology’s new ProLinx Plus Wireless Gateways. ProSoft Wireless Protocol (PWP) allows sharing data “over-the-air”, in a high performance, secure way, between different industrial networks and protocols. Leaning on this revolutionary technology, ProLinx 6000 Wireless Gateways provide users more flexibility than ever before in industrial wireless solutions. Users can connect various field devices using different networks or protocols and share process and network status data between these devices wirelessly. The ProLinx Plus Wireless Gateways utilize a full function 802.11b wireless network card. The module functions as an 802.11b client, providing an ultra-fast, wireless solution for the most demanding industrial applications. • RF data rates up to 11 Mbps • 128 bit encryption • PWP binary protocol The ProLinx Plus Wireless Gateways bring security, reliability, and data throughput to applications requiring wireless including: • moving equipment such as rotating turntables, drums, and even ships turrets • applications where running cable is not feasible or is physically impossible • prohibitive cost of wired solution Where Automation Connects ProSoft Technology, Inc. specializes in the development of communication solutions compatible with the large automation supplier’s controllers such as Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric.
