| Red Lion's New Master Controller Module Brings Communications and Web-based Remote Control to Serial Devices |
New Master Controller module brings communications and web-based remote control capabilities to serial devices. A host of serial devices and legacy machinery can be easily and inexpensively enabled for network and web-based communication and control with Red Lion’s latest Master Controller Module, the centerpiece of the proven Red Lion Modular Controller Series. The Red Lion Master Controller is the single platform solution for multi-zone PID loop control and data acquisition applications. Pair the Master Controller with a dedicated PID or Data Module to enable a “virtual HMI” for remote monitoring, control and triggering capabilities via a networked PC, or from around the globe via the Internet. The system can even communicate with GSM wireless devices for remote control and alerting functions over a cellular phone. Data is saved in CSV files for compatibility with standard office software allowing maximum flexibility.
