22 May, 2006 - Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new Technical Report, the MMP Off The Shelf Product Performance Summary. The report provides the reader with an instantaneous snapshot of the basic performance parameters of all available finished inventory, including DC Motors, Servo Motors, DC Gear motors, Linear Actuators, Motor Speed Controls, Servo Amplifiers and DC Power Supplies. Ideal for the OEM Engineer faced with a short term development deadline, the report can be accessed quickly and easily to accurately determine the suitability of a readily available finished product. The information available for 12, 24, 36V and higher motors and gear motors includes: model #, diameter, input voltage, input current, output speed, output torque and quantity. for linear actuators, the report provides model #, operating voltage, stroke length, gear ratio, stroke speed, output force and quantity. The data provided for PWM Motor Speed Controls and Brushed or Brushless Servo Amplifiers includes operating voltage, peak and continuous output current, analog command voltage, and IP rating. The DC Power Supply data includes the Universal AC Input Voltage Range, the output voltage, output current, package size and the number of output terminals for multi-purpose use. The company offers a variety of standard ancillary equipment including multi-axis drive and control configurations. Custom motor shaft and mounting configurations are also available. Typical applications include battery operated motors and EV drives, medical, mobility/accessibility products, robotics and automation, including unmanned guided vehicles, semiconductor processing equipment, actuators, packaging and labeling machines, metalworking machines, and many other applications requiring precise motion control. |
