January 4, 2012 - Rexroth doubled the lifespan of standard size 10 sandwich plate check valves to more than 20 million load cycles by integrating high-performance plastics. At the same time, the manufacturer has increased operating pressure to 350 bar, thereby providing users with more reserves for later adjustments. The Z1S10 check valves in the 4x series have the same external dimensions as the previous generation, making replacement easy.
The check valve insert made of high-performance plastics guarantees consistently high hydraulic tightness even at low operating pressures. The innovative combination of materials cuts maintenance costs because any wear and tear to the valve is now concentrated on the easily-replaceable insert. What’s more, doing without interior seals makes it easier to use the system with different hydraulic fluids. The high-performance plastics employed by Rexroth have proven themselves in medical technology, automotive manufacturing and aviation.
The technically revised check valve inserts with an integrated sealing bush guarantee an optimal flow profile. The sandwich plates can also optionally be equipped with a bypass feature or measuring connections.
