Rexroth Introduces IndraControl V

The Electric Drives and Controls technology group of Bosch Rexroth continues to provide complete scalable solutions with its new lineup of human machine interfaces (HMIs) – from compact terminals to PC-based interfaces.

IndraControl VCP – Compact Operator Terminals
The IndraControl VCP series of compact HMIs are available with various hardware options and screen sizes – from 3” monochrome displays to 5.7” color touchscreens. Flexibility and open connectivity is possible with the IndraControl VCP terminals due to the wide variety of interfaces available including serial, Ethernet, PROFIBUS, INTERBUS and DeviceNet. Programming is easy with Rexroth’s powerful Windows-based software, VI-Composer.

IndraControl VEP – Windows CE-Based HMIs
Rexroth’s new IndraControl VEP series of robust, embedded terminals are a cost-saving alternative to PC-based panels. Based on Windows CE .NET 4.2 embedded operating system and equipped with AMD GeodeTM processors, the IndraControl VEP provides outstanding performance and reliability. The IndraControl VEP series of HMIs are available with various hardware features including on-board Ethernet, expandable memory, PC/104 expansion slots and TFT color touchscreens ranging in size from 8.4” to 15”. In addition, the IndraControl VEP is available with an integrated PLC. The IndraControl VEP is programmed using Rexroth’s new powerful, easy-to-use HMI/SCADA visualization software, WinStudio.

IndraControl VSP
The new IndraControl VSP series of HMIs from Rexroth are dependable yet cost-effective PC-Based HMIs designed to operate in tough environments due to their IP65 protection rating. These new HMIs are available with various hardware options and screen sizes – choose from 12” or 15” TFT color displays in keyed or touchscreen versions. Powerful Intel® processors combined with Windows XP operating system delivers high performance and reliability. Maximize your connectivity with the standard on-board Ethernet and USB interfaces. Additional options include CD-RW, hard-disk shock-mounting and Rexroth’s powerful, PCI-based motion and logic controller, IndraControl P. Combined with Rexroth’s new HMI/SCADA software, WinStudio, you have the power to configure, manage and monitor the flow of valuable information throughout the entire plant floor.

IndraControl VPP
For the toughest environments, Rexroth has developed the IndraControl VPP series of extreme-duty HMIs. The IndraControl VPP offers the same open connectivity and capabilities as the IndraControl VSP with even greater rigidity. The IndraControl VPP can withstand up to 5g of vibration load and 15g of shock load and offers 5+ years of parts availability. Rexroth’s WinStudio software completes the solution by providing MES and SCADA capability for a supervisory and performance monitoring level and gives you the power to freely customize the user interfaces for your specific application.

IndraControl VxB and VDP – Rack-Mount PCs and Industrial Displays
Rexroth’s IndraControl VxB and VDP series combined provides you with the same features and advantages as the IndraControl VSP and VPP series with the added flexibility of having a separate rack-mount PC and industrial display. A single cable is used to connect the units together for easy installation. Available in a standard or extreme-duty version with keyed or touchscreen displays, the IndraControl VxB/VDP combination offers you complete flexibility to meet your requirements.
