| Rexroth’s New Sizing Software, IndraSize, Provides Optimized Selection of Rexroth Drives and Motors |
 Rexroth IndraSize software makes it easier to calculate the optimum sized drive controllers, motors and mechanical transmission elements. Thanks to the user-friendly interface, it takes just a few minutes to specify all parameters of standard drive mechanisms such as ball screws with a rotating screw or nut, rack and pinion combinations, belt and pulley, and linear and rotating direct drives. In addition, IndraSize enables easy configuration of standard applications by simply entering parameters. Applications such as winders, cross cutters, roll feeds, press feeders and on-the-fly machining systems can be configured with the optimum drive and motor combination in next to no time. IndraSize also provides a library of optimized motor/drive combinations for servo drives, continuous-duty drives and main spindle drives. As a result, the user always obtains the most economical solution – without expensive over-sizing. This new engineering software tool from Rexroth covers the entire range of the new IndraDrive drives and IndraDyn motors. This includes rotary synchronous and asynchronous servo motors as well as linear, torque and high-speed motors.
