July 29, 2010 — Rockwell Automation awarded Enterprise Solution Partner status to Grantek Systems Integration for demonstrating – through successful customer implementations and employee certification – rich knowledge of the Rockwell Automation information software portfolio. Grantek is the first Rockwell Automation partner to meet requirements in all disciplines – control, process and information – at both the automation and enterprise tiers.

As part of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork framework, the Enterprise Solution Partner program provides manufacturers with a resource-rich network of information systems professionals dedicated to driving better manufacturing performance by integrating enterprise resource planning (ERP), plant-floor control and manufacturing information systems.

“The integration of control, information and business environments is critical to meeting ever-changing market demands with more speed than ever before,” said Ralph Carter, Rockwell Software president, Rockwell Automation. “Our Enterprise Solution Partners give manufacturers the tools and resources to meet those demands successfully.” With offices throughout North America, Grantek Systems Integration has been providing world-class solutions to the business intelligence, operational intelligence and manufacturing community for the past 30 years.

“Our ability to help customers bridge the gap between the plant floor and business systems is critical to improving their productivity, quality and asset utilization,” said Dave Patterson, owner, Grantek. “Rockwell Automation only selects companies that are ‘best in class,’ and meeting the stringent Enterprise Solution Partner requirements has clearly differentiated us from the pack. We are proud that the hard work of our entire staff has been recognized by this designation, and look forward to collaborating in an even more meaningful way with Rockwell Automation.”

“Our clients demand that we provide systems and service that will enable them to continually do more to improve their products, processes and profitability,” said Bob Honor, vice president, sales,
Rockwell Automation. “Grantek brings expertise in multiple disciplines, and we’re excited at the opportunity to better serve our customers’ needs by extending our relationship with such a deeply-experienced partner.”

About the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Framework
The Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork framework has three categories – business enterprise, sales and solutions, and product and technology – with seven partner types that offer global manufacturers access to a network of companies focused on developing an ongoing approach to plantwide optimization, improving machine performance and achieving sustainability objectives.
