Sanyo Denki shrinks F2 Stepping Motor

January 30, 2012 - Sanyo Denki America added a smaller model to its F2 Series 2-Phase Bipolar Stepping Motors. With a compact frame of 0.55" and weighing only 1 oz, this new model allows for a space-saving end product design. Though small in size, its holding torque is significant at 0.92 oz-in min.

This small F2 2-Phase Stepping Motor features a step angle of 1.8 degree/step and its rated current is 0.3A/phase. Single and double shaft models of this model are available.

Ideal for downsizing and use in space-limited applications in the automation, medical and semiconductor industries, applications for this compact F2 version include electric grippers, electric cylinders, robots and a range of space-limited uses.
