Schneider Electric announces Initi@tive 2006 seminar topics

August 23, 2006 - Schneider Electric North America has released the listing of seminars topics and titles for its Initi@tive 2006: the Gateway to the New Electric World - a debut trade exposition in the United States, which will be held September 28-30 in Orlando.

At the event, Schneider Electric and its companies are bringing together local and international experts to present a series of diverse seminars on topics to help attendees with their daily business.

Seminar topics include:

1. Automation and Control (22 sessions, including: “A Strategic Approach to HMI/SCADA” and “Ethernet for Automation: Ensuring Seamless Implementation”)
2. Electrical Distribution (17 sessions, including: “Arc Flash and Arc Resistant Switchgear” and “Circuit Breaker Selectivity: Minimize Your Outages”)

7. Water / Wastewater (Four sessions, including: “Control and Data Acquisition: Built for Reliability” and "Reducing Risk and Reliability”)
8. Total Services (12 sessions, including: “Improving Your Plant Productivity” and “Restoring Power Quickly Following Natural Disasters”)
9. Safety, Codes and Standards (18 sessions, including: “Ask the NEC Expert” and “OSHA Knows Equipment”)
10. Schneider Electric Strategy (11 sessions, including: “Finding Savings in the Manufacturing Cost Base” and “The Ultimate Automation Machine”)

Also, with 70,000 square feet of industry-specific trade exhibits and with two walls dedicated to product demonstrations, Initi@tive 2006 will showcase Schneider Electric’s power and automation and control solutions for some of North America’s largest end-users in a variety of industries. In addition, members of Schneider Electric’s expert staff will be on hand to discuss application problems and solutions.
