Schneider Electric offers 3D CAD drawings for automation products

March 2, 2011 – Schneider Electric announced that it has made 3D CAD drawings for its automation and control products available to OEMs and end-users for free on its web site. Now, customers can easily access and search the catalog directly from the Schneider Electric U.S. website and download the drawings into their designs, allowing shorter design time and faster time to market. The catalog:

  • Delivers advanced 2D and 3D viewing technology enabling users to pan, zoom, and rotate (3D)
  • Provides engineers with access to the detailed information they need to specify Schneider Electric’s products
  • Enables customers to insert Schneider Electric’s CAD files directly into their CAD system-no matter which CAD software they use
