| Scientific Technologies Approves Eight U.S. Firms To Receive Certification as STI LazerSafe Installers |
FREMONT, CA – Scientific Technologies, Inc. has approved eight U.S.-based firms as installers of their LazerSafe Hydraulic Press Brake Safeguarding System. All eight firms recently completed an intensive training course on the regulations, application considerations and installation guidelines surrounding the LazerSafe system. The unique LazerSafe system uses a flat band of laser light to continuously cover the zone below the punch over a 40mm width. This allows the operator to work in close proximity to the punch with no disruption to the approach speed or bending process. The result is increased machine throughput and optimum worker safety. LazerSafe is sold as a package that includes installation services from factory trained installers who have a strong background in press brakes and press brake control technology.
