| Scientific Technologies, Inc. Introduces The TL8012-S Safety Interlock Switch With Guard Door Locking |
 FREMONT, CA – Scientific Technologies, Inc. introduces the versatile TL8012-S safety interlock switch with guard door locking. The TL8012-S provides a total of five door and lock monitoring contacts, and locking force of 2000 N (450 lb.), to prevent guard doors from opening until a machine reaches a safe state. A lid-mounted status light provides clear visual indication when the guard door is unlocked. A rotatable head with four actuator entry positions satisfies most installation requirements. Additionally, a variety of stainless steel actuators, a stainless steel guide and a NEMA 6 enclosure mean users can expect long life with a minimum of one million actuations, even in applications with water washdown cleaning. An optional key release is available that allows the guard door to be manually unlocked in an emergency.
