| Scientific Technologies Introduces New Fixed and Removable Terminal Safety Relays |
FREMONT, CA Scientific Technologies, Inc. (STI) introduces 28 new SR Series Safety Monitoring Relays. The SR 1000 Series of fixed terminal relays and the SR 2000 Series of removable terminal models provide control reliability and maximum configuration flexibility to suit nearly every potential safety-monitoring requirement. This comprehensive family of safety relays carries the CE mark, and is UL and C-UL listed. Their broad application range and breadth of features allows them to be applied with various protective devices, with versatility to work with many configurations and switching arrangements to suit the requirements of individual safety systems. Some key features include: * Inputs from a variety of safety devices such as E-stops, interlocks, safety mats and light curtains * Dual channel inputs * One, two or three adjustable time delay outputs for applications requiring a time-delayed stop sequence * One, two or three additional outputs without time delay * Expansion modules for three additional time delayed outputs or differing time delayed outputs * Monitoring of two-hand palm buttons * Stop motion sensing These new additions further solidify STIs position as a top supplier of safety relays in the United States. STI anticipates adding even more safety relays to its product line in the near future. With headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, STI was founded over 30 years ago and employs more than 340 people. STI has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the worlds best small companies. STIs safety products are used to protect workers around machinery, automated equipment and industrial robots.
