Sena Technologies launches POSLink, an SSL-equipped serial-Ethernet converter to make leased-line based credit card payment terminals connected to broadband Internet, for Retail/POS automation. Application Areas 1. Various applications for retail/POS systems switching from serial communication to TCP/IP and Ethernet Features 1. Connects legacy credit-card payment terminals to 10Base-T Ethernet network 2. Transfer transaction data via TCP/IP 3. SSL for transaction data encryption 4.
