February 9, 2011 - Siemens Industry, Inc. recently announced the next generation of their Sirius Modular System of power control products. The new line is called Sirius Innovations. To give customers an opportunity to see and experience these products live, they are hosting six Launch Events in the upcoming weeks. Due to last week’s blizzard that crippled most of the nation, their initial launch event on this tour in Chicago was postponed, and will now be held last in the circuit. Alan Carty and Stephanie Dwyer of Automation.com attended the Launch Event in Minneapolis and reported that the event was very well attended. It was standing-room only in the Champion’s Club at Target Field, the new home of the Minnesota Twins, as attendees viewed a presentation and live product demonstrations. Following the presentation, the attendees were split into 3 groups and taken on a behind the scenes tour of Target Field, which included the visiting team locker room and dugout, Legends Club, Metropolitan Club, Press Conference Room, and Event Suites. Their tour guides gave details of the history behind the Twins, baseball in Minnesota, and described unique attributes of Target Field. The group was then treated to an autograph signing session with Tim Laudner, former Minnesota Twins catcher and member of the famed 1987 World Series team. During and after all this, tours of the Siemens Innovations Mobile Showcase took place where they experienced the capabilities of Siemens control components. To learn more about upcoming locations and specific venues of future Sirius Innovations Launch Events go to www.usa.siemens.com/innovations-tour. The Sirius Innovations line comes in sizes S00 (10 hp) and S0 (30 hp) and incorporates sustainable elements that make more efficient use of space and simplify assembly, while reducing power consumption. Increased power performance up to 40 A in a reduced 45 mm footprint is one key benefit to the space savings provided by Sirius Innovations products. Efficient

“Sirius Innovations is a feature-rich new series of power controls that offers benefits to panel builders and end users alike,” said Raj Batra, president of the Industry Automation Division of Siemens Industry, Inc. “With the introduction of this new line, Siemens is setting a new standard in terms of capability and reliability while helping customers stay flexible in design, efficient in their processes and connected to critical information.” Siemens Industry
