Sintesi announces wireless HMI

October 14, 2010 - Sintesi announces a wireless handheld terminal for industrial machines and robots.

The terminal is compact and lightweight, weighing less than 700 grams with dimensions of 22 x 11 x 4.6cm. The terminal was developed for controlling, monitoring and programming industrial machines and robots while adhering to the strictest safety standards, allowing operators a quick and easy access to numerous HMI and control functions.

Being also available in wired version and completely configurable, the terminal is a true compatible platform for all main commercial controllers. Therefore, machine tools manufacturers can greatly benefit from this wired or wireless terminal to adapt to different software and controllers.

The terminal not only manages the classical functions of jog, it also manages the status mode, functions information and machine setup data. This gives manufacturers the high flexibility and possibility to adapt the terminal to their systems based on their own needs and the customers’ requirements.

The device has a soft touch keyboard and a 5” colour touch screen providing clear and intuitive navigation. The interface software, which is fully customizable, allows flexible adaption to specific requirements of each production process.
