Ethernet Direct releases SNMP OPC Server

Taipei, Taiwan, August 15, 2008 Ethernet Direct offers SNMP OPC Server software that can be perfectly integrated with SCADA and HMI systems.

The SNMP OPC Server was developed based on the standards made by the OPC Foundation. It supports SNMPV1/V2C/V3 and LLDP and by using it, users can integrate the Industrial Managed Switches from Ethernet Direct to a SCADA/HMI system. The SNMP OPC server software supports diagnosis and parameterization of any SNMP devices. This allows information to be integrated into OPC compatible systems such as the HMI system. Ethernet Direct HME Series and HMG Series Industrial Managed and Gigabit Managed Switch are ideal for deployment in mission critical applications. By integrating SNMP OPC Server, SCADA and HMI provides control engineers a flawless solution to monitor the network between automation, control applications, field systems/devices as well as business applications.
