January 30, 2012 - SoftPLC announces Allen-Bradley PLC Migration Kits. With these Migration Kits, users can upgrade an Allen-Bradley PLC CPU without re-programming or re-wiring. SoftPLC Corporation's Migration Kits include:
- PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) CPU that can directly connect to existing A-B I/O
- Services to convert existing ladder logic and program documentation to the new CPU format
- PAC programming/maintenance software
SoftPLC's Smart PAC provides a state-of-the-art platform with more memory, more capacity, and more communication ports that is essentially a drop-in replacement for an Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC-500, PLC-2, PLC-3 or even a 1774 PLC.
These Migration Kits are the easiest and lowest cost option for users of Allen-Bradley PLC's offering users a path forward with very little downtime or personnel training.
