October 22, 2009 - Software Toolbox released TOP Server Version 5.1, powered by Kepware, to its client base and channel partners. This release delivers enhancements focused on lowering the cost and risk of integrating custom applications and broadening the range of devices TOP Server connects to HMI/SCADA systems. New features in version 5.1 include: In addition to new features, TOP Server Version 5.1 delivers enhancements to the following drivers: GE Ethernet Global Data, GE SRTP, GE SNP, GE SNPX, GE Focas 1, Mitsubishi Ethernet, Modbus ASCII, Modbus Ethernet, Modbus Plus, Modbus RTU, Modbus RTU Unsolicited, Siemens S7 MPI, Siemens S5 (3964R Protocol), SIMATIC 505 Ethernet, SIMATIC 505 Serial, Industrial SNMP, Triconex Ethernet, User Configurable (UCON), and Yokogawa DX Ethernet. "The new CID interface driver included in TOP Server 5.1 makes the integration of existing custom driver code and specialized applications with automation client products possible like never before," said John Weber, president of Software Toolbox, Inc.
