| Sola/Hevi-Duty Introduces New Slim Rack/Tower Line-Interactive UPS |
.jpg) ORLANDO, FL, October 27, 2004 (Automation Fair) – Sola/Hevi-Duty, a worldwide leader in power quality solutions, has improved the size-to-performance ratio of its rack mountable UPS line with its new S3K2U, an ultra-slim line-interactive UPS. Available with power ratings of 1000, 1440 and 2200 VA, the S3K2U is built for networking or process control racks, where reliable protection against severe power disturbances is needed and compact dimensions are a must. The S3K2U is designed to be mounted in a standard 19” rack or in a tower configuration without requiring extra parts or space. Although compact, the S3K2U boasts such state-of-the-art features as surge protection for telephone and network connections, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) topology, sine wave output and configurable input/output. The advanced battery management system includes a remote power off (RPO) function and full-sequence, automatic bi-weekly battery testing to assure power in deep sag situations. The S3K2U is designed for seamless integration with workstations and PLC's, as well as robotic, industrial automation and process control systems.
