Sola/Hevi-Duty S3K Series Mini-Tower Line-Interactive UPS Balances Performance and Affordability

ORLANDO, FL, October 27, 2004 (Automation Fair) – Sola/Hevi-Duty, a leader in power quality equipment, announced the introduction of the new S3K Series Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

Balancing affordability and performance, the new S3K UPS features a sinewave output, Advanced Voltage Regulation (AVR) for increased battery life, and Line Interactive technology to help back-up and protect equipment. The mini-tower shape fits into cabinets and tight spaces easily.

The S3K Series are 120 VAC models with power ratings of 700, 1000 and 1600 VA. Standard features include:

Sinewave output

Input voltage surge suppression

Surge protected telephone and modem connections

Battery (internal) backup time up to eight minutes at full load

Hot Swappable and end user replaceable internal batteries

DB-9 communications port

Power management software to facilitate the graceful shutdown of critical processes, computer equipment or computer peripherals.
