Edmonton, Alberta - June 5, 2007 - Matrikon (TSX:MTK) announced that Amin Rawji has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and resigned as a member of Matrikons board of directors effective immediately. Company founder Nizar J. Somji will resume the role of President and CEO. As Nizar is currently interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Matrikon will begin to actively search for a permanent CFO. "We thank Amin for his significant contributions to Matrikons growth and success over the past 12 years," said Somji.
