| Somji becomes CEO of Matrikon again | ||

Edmonton, Alberta - June 5, 2007 - Matrikon (TSX:MTK) announced that Amin Rawji has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and resigned as a member of Matrikon’s board of directors effective immediately. Company founder Nizar J. Somji will resume the role of President and CEO. As Nizar is currently interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Matrikon will begin to actively search for a permanent CFO.
