OMRON Scientific Technologies, Inc. - STI News
| STI--Miniature Interlock Swtiches Offer Wide Range of Capabilities |
FREMONT, CA The T2007 series miniature safety interlock switch from Scientific Technologies, Inc. (STI) is now available with more capabilities and optional features to satisfy a broader range of applications. Just 75 x 25 x 29 mm in size, the T2007 is ideal for smaller machines with space restrictions while still providing two sets of contacts and a conduit entry not typically available in a switch of this size. The miniature T2007 carries the CE mark, is TUV approved, and is UL and C-UL listed. The head rotates 360 degrees, providing eight possible actuator entry points for a variety of actuators. The optional flexible/adjustable actuator allows a minimum operating radius of just 60 mm (2.36 in) for applications with limited pace. An optional stainless steel guide provides improved mechanical alignment and rugged protection in demanding applications. The T2007 is also available with a miniature four-pin connector plus five meters of cable with mating connector that allows for quick and easy connection to the two N/C or one N/C plus one N/O sets of contacts. With headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, STI was founded over 30 years ago and employs more than 330 people. STI has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the worlds best small companies. STIs safety products are used to protect workers around machinery, automated equipment and industrial robots.
