June 24, 2009 — TÜVRheinland promoted Northwest Regional Manager Michelo Santiago, expanding his territory to now include the Southwest region. The decision represents the company’s ongoing commitment to the region, which has enjoyed a steady growth in its client and employee base since the Southwest office opened its doors more than 10 years ago. The company’s expansion into new industrial sectors in the Western region necessitated stronger management for the California office, which has long served as a cornerstone location for the region. Santiago brings more than 15 years of related industry experience to the position, having joined TÜVRheinland nearly five years ago as Northwest Regional Manager. "Our customers throughout the Southwest will certainly benefit from Mic Santiago’s extensive industry experience,” said Deep Krishnan, Vice President of Operations for TÜV Rheinland of North America, Inc. “He has prospered in the Northwest and now has support from all levels within the organization to help build on TÜVRheinland’s success in this valued region.” The company also recently expanded its engineering and sales staff in the Southwest to meet the growing needs of its customers, especially in the areas of International Approvals and Medical Auditing. This builds on the expertise of the territory’s current staff, some of whom have more than 20 years of experience in Product Safety, Industrial Machinery and Medical Testing at TÜVRheinland.
