May 12, 2011 — Three product suppliers have joined the Rockwell Automation Encompass third-party product referencing program, whose members provide manufacturers with products to enhance and extend their Rockwell Automation solutions. ASD., advenco Consulting, and Nidec Shimpo join the more than 100 Encompass member companies who supplement Rockwell Automation installations in one of three ways: providing built-in connectivity to the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture system, offering a critical component necessary to a manufacturer’s application, or providing industry or application expertise using specialized product technology. Rockwell Automation also named current Encompass partner Schaffner Group a global partner.

Below are additional details about the new Encompass partners:

• ASD – offering Quality Spec 7000 over-the-conveyor spectroscopic analyzer for rapid, precise, non-destructive and non-contact measurement of material as it is being conveyed.
• advenco Consulting – providing mobile workflow management and decision
  support and a mobile manufacturing intelligence client for Rockwell Automation
  FactoryTalk VantagePoint on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
• Nidec - Shimpon – manufacturing high precision, cost-effective gearing and mechanical drives, including servo gear reducers and cycloidal speed reducers.

In addition to the new Encompass program members, current PartnerNetwork member Schaffner Group is now a global partner, referenced in all regions.

• Schaffner Group – designing active and passive harmonic filters for variable frequency drives to support energy efficiency.

The Encompass program is part of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork framework, which includes thousands of specialists in industries, applications, geographies, technologies and services around the world.
