June 23, 2008 – Toellner Systems signed a distribution agreement with Romheld Automation Australia, allowing Toellner to expand its automation products and services throughout the Australian and New Zealand manufacturing markets. During a recent trip to Australia to visit the Romheld head offices and facilities in Sydney and Melbourne, Dennis Toellner was very impressed with Romheld and the level of commitment and professionalism they had to offer in their distribution services and their overall expertise in automation. “Our marketing department has just finished conducting a pretty intense, year-long international research study throughout various countries,” stated Dennis Toellner, President of Toellner Systems, Inc. “We believe that Romheld will be the perfect fit as a distributor in the Southern Hemisphere for our parts automation loading/unloading systems. There seems to be an overwhelming interest in fast parts automation in which we at Toellner specialize, especially our 180º parts turnaround capability that can load and unload a finished part in less than 6 seconds, including turning the part around 180º and machining both ends to completion. The appointment of Romheld is an important stage in our 2008 marketing plans to expand our business to a whole new level and we look forward to a long and mutually successful partnership.” Romheld’s General Manager, Peter Hope, announced, “We are delighted to include Toellner automated loading systems to our product offering and look forward to introducing their technology to our customers.” Toellner Systems has been in operation since 1986. It is an industry leader with its applications in helping companies dramatically increase throughput production while decreasing overhead, manufacturing automatic parts loaders, catchers and conveyors for CNC lathes, machining centers, grinders, shaft cut-off, multi-spindle chuckers and thread rolling.
