Transduction introduces Gloria LCD 4U rack mount PC
Mississauga ON - May 16, 2008 - Transduction introduced the Gloria LCD 4U rack mount chassis. Designed to accommodate over-sized PICMG 1.3 backplanes and single host boards it will also accommodate standard ATX motherboards.

Chassis Configuration:
Three front 5.25" drive bays can accommodate wide range of peripherals such as floppy, CD/DVD, tape, single or dual hot swap hard drives. The chassis can be supplied with a single 460W PS/2 style or an optional dual hot swap 550W ATX+ power supply. Gloria LCD can be supplied with Pentium 4 , Core 2 Duo , Core 2 Quad or Dual Xeon SBCs and up to 14 PCI or ISA slot backplanes depending on the client’s requirements.

Thermal Control:
Hot air exhaust/cooling is accomplished with two ball bearing 90 CFM air fans on the front, with RPM regulated by adaptive air/temperature controller. Speed of the fans is proportional to the temperature inside the chassis. This effectively extends life of the fans, reduces intake of dust and cuts down acoustical noise.

Display: The 8.4" Mitsubishi LCD supplied with this chassis comes standard with a LVDS interface; however, it can also be supplied with analog type SVGA interface if required. Brightness of the screen is 300 cd/m, response time 6 ms and contrast 400:1. Resolution is 1024x768 pixels. Use of the internal LCD display effectively converts the rack mount computer into a computer based test system that can be tailored for many different applications.
