| TURCK's microfast ® Cordsets with Nylon Coupling Nuts for Washdown Environments |
Minneapolis, MN—April 16, 2002—TURCK Inc. announced microfast cordsets which are now available with 1/2-20UNF nylon coupling nuts. This is good news for customers with AC systems and harsh environmental conditions that require the use of non-metal connections. Cordsets with nylon coupling nuts offer good chemical resistance when used in applications with petroleum products such as naphthalene, xylene, cutting fluids, hydraulic fluids and gear oils. Nylon connectivity products are often specified in food and beverage applications that experience washdown conditions using water, detergents and surfactants. Nylon coupling nuts provide a connection that is chemically resistant to a range of compounds including ammonium chloride, benzene, ethers and alcohol, in addition to outdoor weathering.
TURCK microfast cordsets have the following approvals and protection ratings; NEMA 1,3,4,6, and IEC IP 67.
