| Woodhead's Gateway Connects Ethernet TCP/IP and Serial Devices |
 Automation Fair – October 2004, Orlando, Florida. Woodhead announces the release of its applicom® GATEway, a configurable stand-alone smart Ethernet TCP/IP and Serial gateway that allows based controllers to communicate and interoperate all together at the same time. The GATEway allows simultaneous communication between industrial devices (PLC, SCADA etc.) using up to 14 different Ethernet and Serial protocols. No programming is required and its easy-to-use graphical interface provides diagnostic tools for network, device and process data. Other solutions available from Woodhead include PC/PLC network interfaces, gateways, I/O simulation software, diagnostic tools, I/O modules, connectors, cable assemblies, and connection blocks.
