Our guest article this week, Automation Systems Integration - the realm of specialists, is written by Jim Pinto. Jim's article is very timely because later this week the Control and Information Systems Integrators Association (CSIA) is holding their annual conference in Palm Desert, CA. In the article, Jim offers analysis of system integration companies and suggests how companies can grow their businesses by expanding geographical coverage and industry expertise. Jim also discusses how major automation suppliers have made a "big mistake" by expanded into the systems integration business. At the CSIA conference, Jim will be presenting on these same topics. It will be interesting to see how some of the well-represented automation suppliers (at the conference) respond to his criticism. You can check out Jim's article below in the Featured Article section. Oh, if your company is a systems integrator, be sure to request a listing in our directory.
