This is the second article in a series about engineering companies and how engineers can become more successful by acquiring some leadership skills. Most engineering companies are started by engineers. Without valuable leadership skills, engineers/owners will have a difficult time growing and sustaining a successful business and productive staff. Leadership skills not only benefit owners, but all engineers, technicians and even newbies can reap rewards in pay and job satisfaction by acquiring leadership skills.
This week, National Instruments is hosting their 10th annual NIWeek user conference. Engineers and scientists from around the world gathered yesterday in Austin Texas to kickoff this virtual instrumentation conference. Through 165 technical training sessions and over 130 industry leading exhibiting companies, attendees share ideas and experiences with colleagues and learn about cost-effective, flexible technologies for creating advanced test, monitoring, and control solutions.
