MTL Open System Technologies (MOST) Offers Web Seminar Series On Process Control Topics
MOST, the leaders in open hardware and software components and systems for the process industries, has scheduled a new series of web seminars for 2005. The series will cover advanced boiler control strategies, industrial ethernet, advanced gas plant control, and an introduction to functional safety systems, as well as other process industry topics. The seminars provide detailed information on how to apply the latest in control equipment and strategies to solve real process plant challenges. For example, the boiler control seminar focuses on reducing heat loss and operating costs by optimizing control. The functional safety systems seminar will introduce the key concepts for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and help attendees identify the components and technologies that make the most sense for their plants.
