A Quick Look at ISA EXPO 2005
The 2005 ISA EXPO was held last week at McCormick Center in Chicago. The show opened with a bag pipe marching band...a little fun to get your blood pumping. Although I haven't heard the final attendee count, there is no doubt that the show continues to get smaller. There is also no doubt that this show continues to offer significant value to both attendees and exhibitors. According to many exhibitors, the attendance was lower than ideal, but the quality of the attendees appeared to be high. In other words, those that showed up were genuinely interested in the latest products.
For those of you who were unable to attend, we tried to collect and archive (not an easy task) as many announcements as we could at News from ISA EXPO 2005. There are over 50 product and company announcements. We couldn't possibly have highlighted everything in this e-newsletter, so I listed just a few of the interesting announcements for you below:

Cost Reduction Through Electrical CAE
Whether they compete at a regional, national or global level, today’s manufacturers and
automation suppliers are faced with the same challenge – They must be faster, cheaper and better or
they will quickly be out of the race. They must look for ways to increase productivity through high valueadded
