Controlling the speed of a DC motor based on a 4-20 mA...
I've been trying to control a speed of a DC motor based on a 4-20 mA. I said the best way to do this was with a PLC with a PID. Is there any other way to do this. All I've found are PID's that control temperature, but it's been difficult to find a stand alone PID.

800xA i/o error code
We have a 'hardware' error code that is getting worse over time, on an 810 Analog out module. We can't find an error code listing in the manuals we have with the system, and the vendor does not seem to have an answer as to what the root cause might be; such as signal bounds, noise, grounding, etc. The 'Hardware Tree' is not much help, even less than MS would be...
