Proficy Historian provides a robust, high performance plant data repository proven invaluable for collecting, storing and archiving large volumes of data as the foundation for local or corporate EMI initiatives. Able to store all types of process data, Proficy Historian also allows users with multi-plant operations to establish a common, standard foundation of data across plants, business units or the entire enterprise.
Bundled with Proficy Historian for this trial program, GE Fanucs Portal provides a web-based window into key performance metrics so users can operate their business more efficiently. Its sophisticated trending and reporting capabilities take advantage of the high performance data storage ability of Proficy Historian, allowing focus on continuous improvement.
