Welcome to the Automation.com portal for EtherNet/IP. EtherNet/IP is an Industrial Ethernet network for advanced manufacturing and automation. It handles applications from general purpose automation to high performance, real-time control using the same TCP/IP protocol suite that is used for the Internet. EtherNet/IP provides a unified network architecture with the resiliency and real-time performance of a traditional field bus, with the bandwidth, open connectivity and adaptability of Ethernet standards.
