AXIOMTEK releases touch panel computer that takes heat and vibration
Taipei, Taiwan, January 4, 2007 - The new 15 TFT fanless touch panel computer, the GOT-3150T, supports an ultra low power consumption processor and supports a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to + 55°C for harsh industrial-grade environments.
The GOT-3150T, with an onboard Intel Celeron M 1GHz processor and an anti-vibration HDD, protects data and enhances system reliability. The modern and sleek HMI platform also has a wireless antenna, a mini PCI connector, dual fast Ethernet and is a great fit for industrial applications or commercial projects, such as food and beverage factories, transportation, control platforms on ships, oil pipe monitoring systems, and more.
It is an industrial-grade panel computer that minimizes the bottleneck of fanless, reliable panel systems, said Alex Hsueh, Product Manager of AXIOMTEKs Industrial Automation Division. The integration of a fanless kernel, fuse protection and anti-vibration makes this machine a reliable solution for industrial or critical environments. With a unique anti-vibration design, the GOT-3150T has been approved for vibration tests at (5~500Hz) in operation mode with HDDs and is a good choice for operating temperature ranges between -20°C to 55°C.
In response to customers demands, the GOT-3150T has a built-in an internal speaker and can be used for Kiosks, information stations and more. The panel computer provides a mini PCI slot and a built-in fixed rotational WLAN antenna (IEEE 802.11b/802.11g) for wireless network connections. By simply plugging in a wireless LAN card, users can easily set the GOT-3150T in a wireless environment.
Additionally, the aluminum front bezel is NEMA 4/IP65 compliant and the GOT-3150T fanless panel computer provides a fuse to protect the system from being damaged by over-voltage. It supports a variety of operating systems and embedded OS, including Windows 2000/XP, Windows CE.NET, Windows XPe, and Linux.
This RoHS compliant product is going to be available around the end of January 2007.
