BluFlo launches Blackberry handheld SCADA
The BluFlo package has unique features not previously available for mobile users, including user-defined registers, archive definitions, control limits and alarms. Target users for the software include field service personnel, engineers and maintenance technicians. The BluFlo application eliminates the need for modems, radios and laptops while enabling users to monitor and control Modbus-compliant field devices from a Bluetooth enabled handheld...Ultimately, reducing capital costs.
All data is sent securely and automatically from the handheld to BluFlo's host system, where the data can either be made available through a very powerful and easy to use WEB interface, or it can be sent to a data center for internal use.
BluFlo is an independent gas and liquid measurement company headquartered in Red Deer, Alberta. We provide measurement and analytical services throughout Canada and the United States and abroad.
