		ProSoft releases EtherNet/IP-enabled 802.11n Industrial Hotspot - 05/14/12 Embedded diagnostics provide real-time monitoring of wireless network health which reduces troubleshooting time and may prevent costly system shutdowns.

		DeviceNet for Quantum/Unity ProSoft Technology’s expertise in protocol connectivity solutions for industrial applications now includes support for DeviceNet with its ProTalk DeviceNet Scanner/Slave Module (PTQ-DNET) for the Schneider Electric Quantum and Unity platforms. The PTQ-DNET module provides a powerful interface between DeviceNet scanners or slave devices (such as sensors and actuators) and the processor over the backplane.

		In-Rack Flow Computers ProSoft Technology’s Flow Computers (AFC) allow integrated process control and Flow Computer capabilities in a single-slot, in-rack solution for Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix®, SLC™, CompactLogix™, and PLC® platforms and for Schneider Electric’s Quantum/Unity processor.

		Modbus, Modbus Plus, and Modbus TCP/IP Solutions ProSoft Technology offers a wide array of in-chassis and stand-alone communication modules for Modbus, Modbus Plus, or Modbus TCP/IP networks. These modules are ideally suited for SCADA or where Third Party Device connectivity is needed. Whether using Modbus, Modbus Plus or Modbus/TCP, each port is isolated and independently configurable for Master/Slave, Peer to Peer, Client/Server respectively.

		PROFIBUS DP In-rack and Stand-Alone Solutions ProSoft Technology offers a variety of communication solutions for both field- and plant-level industrial automation applications. Among the more than 400 protocols supported by ProSoft Technology is the widely accepted PROFIBUS DP, a standard among field-level factory and process automation applications.

		IEC In-rack and Stand-Alone Solutions ProSoft Technology offers a full range of protocol connectivity modules and stand-alone gateways for IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-103 and IEC 60870-5-104 protocols.

		HART Multi-drop In-rack and Stand-Alone Solutions ProSoft Technology’s HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) multi-drop communication modules allow networks to access temperature, pressure and multi-variable units from up to 60 smart field devices using ProSoft Technology’s in-chassis modules and up to 120 devices using the ProLinx line of stand-alone gateways.

		DF1 In-rack and Stand-Alone Solutions Add connectivity to DF1-supported field devices with ProSoft Technology's broad range of in-chassis or stand-alone solutions. ProSoft Technology DF1 modules support Full (peer-to-peer) and Half (master-slave) Duplex versions of the protocol and are ideal for SCADA and DF1 device interfaces.

		ASCII In-rack and Stand-Alone Solutions ProSoft Technology’s extensive inventory of ASCII solutions creates connectivity options for various networks and controllers to ASCII devices including barcode readers, scanners, scales, printers, and terminals.

		PROFIBUS DP Master for ControlLogix ProSoft Technology’s PROFIBUS DPV1 Master Module (MVI56-PDPMV1), 2005 Plant Engineering's Product of the Year Award finalist, is a user-friendly tool which enables ControlLogix architectures to access field data from up to 125 PROFIBUS DP slaves directly over the backplane. The module uses the protocol independent Field Device Tool (FDT) and Device Type Manager (DTM) technology to standardize the interface between systems and field devices, to simplify configuration, and to assist in asset management.

		PROFIBUS DP Master for Quantum with Hot Standby and FDT/DTM technology The PTQ-PDPMV1 module with Hot Standby functionality allows a PROFIBUS network to be controlled by two Schneider Electric (Model SE 140 671 CPU) Quantum/Unity processors. The redundancy creates a backup so that should the primary power source fail the secondary module will switch into primary mode in under 300 miliseconds, making the module ideal for applications where it is crucial to eliminate the risk of downtime.

		Modbus Master/Slave Module for ControlLogix ProSoft Technology’s Modbus Communication Modules (MCMs) provide a fast and easy way to connect Modbus networks and devices to the ControlLogix system. Now implementation of these modules is made even easier with ProSoft Technology’s new add on instructions which condense 31 rungs of ladder logic contained in 6 ladder files into one add on instruction which can be imported directly into RSLogix 5000 Version 16.

		In-Rack PCs for ControlLogix ProSoft Technology’s connectivity solutions for Rockwell Automation platforms include a growing line of in-chassis PCs which offer greater functionality, programmability and connectivity. These powerful modules communicate directly across the backplane to a ControlLogix PLC, and offer the flexibility and processing speed of an industrial computer.

		Wireless EtherNet/IP for ControlLogix ProSoft Technology’s new inRAx Wireless EtherNet/IP Communication Module acts as a wireless bridge, enabling remote connectivity between a ControlLogix processor and 802.11 wireless devices including: PCs, Laptops, radio modems such as the RadioLinx® Industrial Hotspot™, and other MVI56-WA-EIP modules.

		Wireless HART Multidrop Communication Gateways ProSoft Technology’s new ProLinx 6000 Wireless HART Gateways use a digital HART to wireless interface to bring high-speed connectivity to HART field devices and enable the sharing of data between these devices over-the-air.

		RadioLinx Modems & Switches ProSoft Technology’s RadioLinx modems are field-proven, industrial grade, and approved for hazardous environments. ProSoft’s Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radios in Ethernet, serial, and Ethernet with serial server are ideal for applications requiring additional security. Our Industrial Hotspot radios which can support high-speed applications including VO/IP, video over Ethernet, or Security cameras, and which can be tapped into by PDAs and laptops.

		In-Chassis Protocol Communication Modules for Rockwell Automation & Schneider Electric Processors ProSoft Technology offers an extensive inventory of in-chassis modules for industrial automation applications using Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric processors. These in-rack devices communicate over the backplane to interface the respective networks with any of over 60 protocols (both client to server and master to slave). ProSoft’s protocol and network connectivity modules include inRAx for Rockwell Automation and ProTalk for Schneider Electric. These devices are designed to connect to a number of networks, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and DCS systems (Dedicated Control System).
